Calling all Makers!​

 

We are looking for confident artists, artisans, crafters, and makers who enjoy meeting people, sharing their skills, and showing their love of art. Do you have an idea/practice/dream that you want to share with others? Do you love to help others learn and improve? Do you feel comfortable entertaining and instructing a crowd? Then partnering with the team at Art Haven is for you!

Art Haven is a ceramic painting studio and cafe in Ottawa, with locations in Barrhaven and Kanata. We welcome people of all ages and skill levels to drop-in and paint a unique ceramic piece. In addition to drop-in painting, we host parties, events, and workshops in our private event space. We serve a selection of bubble teas, slushies, smoothies, beer and wine to help get those creative juices flowing!

Our space is waiting for artists like you; bring your fresh ideas! Your role would be to plan and execute your own workshops. Partnering with Art Haven would help you to promote yourself and your craft; we would advertise for your event with our customers and community.

As a partner, your success is our goal. Every event we host connects and inspires our community to embrace their creative side, and we want you to be a part of that! Our Creative Director will work with you to coordinate events to suit your schedule. Your events will be advertised through our social media platforms, mailing list, and directly to visitors in our studios.

Our Spaces

 

Our studios in Barrhaven and Kanata each have a furnished private event space that holds groups of up to 20 people. We can accommodate larger groups by opening up these spaces to the rest of the studio with moving walls. Furnishings can be easily moved around to suit your events. Event attendees will be able to purchase refreshments at our drink bar.

Our goal is to grow our creative community by supporting diverse local artists. We want to create a fair partnership with terms that benefits all parties. You will remain independent, setting your own schedule and prices. We will work as a support to host your event and attract new attendees. The terms of the partnership would be unique to each individual, decided together.
